Ram Sethu Floating Stone

Patna, Oct 14 2007 : A 'floating stone' of Ram Sethu, the bridge mentioned in Ramayana epic, brought to Patna from Rameshwaram as an evidence to the existence of Rama and the bridge built for him to cross over to Lanka is attracting thousands of devotees everyday. This 'floating stone' presently exhibited on the first floor of Mahavir Mandir is reportedly one of the stones that got scattered at Rameshwaram during Tsunami and similar cyclones. The visitors or devotees so to say, are amazed at the amazing stone.

HUMAN CHAIN FOR PROTECTION OF RAM SETU

HUMAN CHAIN AT HYDERABAD DEMANDING PROTECTION OF RAM SETU

A long human chain (Manava haram) of about 12km length from Ganesh Temple at Secunderabad to Bhagyalakshmi Temple at Charminar in old city of Hyderabad stood from 10.30 Hrs. to 11.30Hrs. on 11-12-07 demanding protection of Ram Setu. The event was organized under the aegis of RAMESWARAM RAMA SETU RAKSHA VEDIKA, ANDHRA PRADESH

Around 10,000 people participated in forming the human chain. Chanting Bhajans, slogans like Jai Shri Ram ; Save Ram Setu reverberated the air. Those participated in the event were from BJP, RSS, VHP, ABVP, BMS, Hindu Vahini and other Hindu Parivar organizations and also from general public.

At 3 places along the human chain leaders of the Hindu Organizations addressed and explained the importance of protecting Ram Setu and exhorted the people to get prepared to participate in large numbers in the 30th December rally at Delhi for protecting Ram Setu. Three prominent Swamijis also participated in the event and
at Ganesh Temple of Secunderabad, Sankaracharya of Puri addressed the people and narrated the historical background and explained the necessity of saving Ram Setu
